Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 11920 Astoria Boulevard about 11 a.m. today (October 8).
The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
A passerby observed the male floating in a detention pond at the above address, which is next to a hospital. Preliminary information indicates the male was not a patient at the hospital.
