Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found about 10:55 a.m. today (Friday, May 22).
The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
Bicyclists riding near the above address observed the victim floating in Buffalo Bayou.
Officers with the HPD Dive Team retrieved him from the bayou and he was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. There were no obvious signs of trauma.
The investigation is pending an examination by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
