Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on human remains found at 9401 Fuqua Street about 12:40 p.m. on Thursday (July 4).
The identity, gender and race of the individual are unknown.
HPD Homicide Division Officers T. Colbert and R. Ridel reported:
Patrol officers were dispatched to a call stating that human remains were found in a wooded area at the above address. Members of the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences were contacted, gathered the evidence and will attempt to learn the identity of the deceased person.
