Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9601 West Montgomery Road about 12:25 p.m. today (October 3).
The identity of the victim, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim, between apartment buildings, suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, where he was pronounced deceased.
There are no known witnesses or motive in the shooting at this time.
