Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another man at 7504 Lyons Avenue about 12:10 a.m. on Saturday (March 13).
The identity of the deceased victim, 30, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The second victim, 37, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detective A. Dudley reported:
A preliminary investigation indicates that two men began arguing outside the bar at the above address. The argument led to a physical altercation and then a shooting. The suspects, described only as three Hispanic males, then fled the scene. Paramedics were called and pronounced one victim deceased and transported the other victim to a hospital.
