Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7000 Bellfort Avenue about 6:30 a.m. today (June 9).
The identity of the victim, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Higgs and B. Evans reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call to a parking lot at the above address and observed the victim sitting in his parked vehicle. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive in the shooting.
