Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 5500 Griggs Road about 5 P.M. on Thursday (September 12).
The victim, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Higgs and J. Caten reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to shooting call at the above address and found the victim deceased outside an apartment. According to witnesses, he had been shot by someone inside the apartment, who remains at large. There is no known motive for the shooting.
