| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5402 Chennault Road about 5 p.m. on Friday (February 19).
The victim, Jose Louis Moreno, Jr., 22, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Pickett and L. Patterson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at a residence at the above address and found Mr. Moreno shot and witnesses providing medical assistance to him. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Moreno to the hospital.
Witness stated they heard gunshots and saw one unknown male run from the area and another male leave in a vehicle of unknown make and model.
