Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4620 Fisk Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4620 Fisk Street about 5:05 a.m. on Saturday (December 15).

The victim, Juan Anthony Olivas, 35, of the above address, was pronounced deadat the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

Two unidentified masked males broke into the house at the above address and went to a back bedroom where Mr. Olivas and a woman were sleeping.  The suspects demanded money and narcotics from Olivas before fatally shooting him.  The suspects then fled the scene.  Cash and a variety of narcotics were found in the house.

The woman, who was not harmed in this incident, was questioned by investigators and released.
