Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 15707 Eastex Freeway (North U. S. Highway 59) service road about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday (November 14).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a motel parking lot at the above address and found the victim deceased. According to witnesses, two males in a newer model, red Infiniti G35 or G37, with possible paper tags and black rims, drove into the parking lot and met with the victim. An altercation ensued between the victim and the two males and he was shot several times. The suspects then got into the Infiniti and fled the scene southbound on the Eastex Freeway service road.
The suspects are described only as two males.
