Houston police are investigating an apparent murder/suicide incident resulting in the deaths of a man and a woman at 14400 Wildwood Springs Lane about 2 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 28).
The female victim, Artina Cooper, 33, and her husband, Herschell Cooper, 34, were pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Higgs and J. Caten reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found the Coopers on the driveway of the residence. Both had suffered apparent gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. A gun was recovered at the scene and there are no other suspects at this time.
