Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11200 East Freeway

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men at 11200 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) about 6 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 8).

The identities of the victims, 25 and 33 years of age, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark, J. Pickett and L. Lange reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call on the outbound (eastbound) lanes of the freeway at the above address and found the victims unresponsive, with apparent gunshot wounds, inside their vehicle.

Witnesses observed an unknown Hispanic male – possibly in his early 20s, thin build, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and wearing a red shirt – on the freeway running towards the victims’ vehicle, firing multiple times.  The unknown suspect then fled the scene in a newer model, dark colored four door sedan, with unknown license plates.
