Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and wounding of a man at 10122 Wild Hollow Lane about 6:10 p.m. on Sunday (Aug. 4).
The identity of the female victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The male victim, age unknown, was transported to an area hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Lamont and A. Lopez reported:
A man and woman had an altercation inside the residence at the above address. Both were shot multiple times. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics transported the male victim to the hospital where he was reported in stable condition.
No other suspect(s) is believed to be involved in the incident.
Further investigation is forthcoming pending the initial findings from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
