Houston police have learned a woman critically injured in a crash at 8600 Bellaire Boulevard about 6:45 a.m. on Oct. 9 has died.
The victim, Ana Ramos Gonzales, 62, was pronounced deceased last Friday (Oct. 11).
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer J. Gaona reported:
Ms. Gonzales was attempting to cross the 6800 block of Redding at Bellaire – in a crosswalk – when she was struck by a black Nissan Altima traveling westbound on Bellaire. Gonzales was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and did not show any signs of intoxication.
The investigation is continuing with no charges filed at this time.
