Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4000 Eldridge Parkway

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4000 Eldridge Parkway about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 19).

The identity of the deceased female, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and C. Song reported:

The female was driving a gray Toyota Camry northbound at the above address when she lost control of the vehicle, drifted sideways into opposite lanes of traffic and struck a silver Dodge Durango traveling southbound.

Paramedics pronounced the female deceased at the scene.  The male driver, 48, of the Dodge and a juvenile male passenger, 10, were transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

The investigation is continuing.
