Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 298 North Carolina Street about 8:05 p.m. on Saturday (June 8).
The identity of the male victim, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Linscomb and Officer P. Ngo reported:
The victim was operating a white and blue motorcycle northbound on Clinton Park Street when he was struck by a gray Nissan traveling westbound on North Carolina Street.
Paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The male driver, 32, of the Nissan, did not show visible signs of intoxication and was questioned and released pending further investigation.
