Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 19000 Glenwest about 4:40 p.m. on Thursday (June 27).
The identity of the male victim, 62, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Sergeant R. Gonzales and Officer S. Le reported:
The victim was driving a gray Toyota Camry southbound on Glenwest near Bay Area Boulevard when it is believed he suffered a medical episode. The vehicle struck a tree, flipped and landed upside down. Two children, both passengers, a male, 9 and a female, 7, were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital via Life Flight helicopter in unknown conditions.
