Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1900 Airport Boulevard

Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 1900 Airport Boulevard about 2:30 a.m. today (Dec. 8).

The identity of the deceased male, believed to be 20 to 30 years old, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer K. Johnson reported:

The male, a pedestrian, was in a moving lane of traffic at the above address when he was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling eastbound.  The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
