Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 18000 State Highway 249 about 11:45 p.m. on Sunday (March 28).
The male victim, 29, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Uribe and Officer J. Roberson reported:
A Harris County Sheriff’s deputy observed the driver of a white Ford F-350 pickup truck traveling northbound at the above address. The driver of the Ford failed to maintain a single lane of traffic and struck the barricades on the Grant Street exit ramp, causing the pickup truck to rollover.
The driver died at the scene. The female passenger was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
