Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 11900 Westheimer Road about 6:00 a.m. today (Oct. 23).
The victim, 33, was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Senior Police Officer R. Saenz reported:
The victim was operating a black Ducati motorcycle westbound at the above address when he struck the curb, lost control of the motorcycle and crossed into oncoming traffic. He was then struck by a white Nissan Altima traveling eastbound on Westheimer. The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan was also transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
