Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 9707 North Wayside Drive about 10:20 a.m. today (August 22).
The identity of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Hay and Senior Police Officer B. Evans reported:
Officers responded to a report of a human body discovered in high grass in a field behind a church at the above address. There were no apparent signs of trauma to the victim and the status of the investigation is pending autopsy results.
