2nd UPDATE: Suspects Sought in Fatal Shooting at 7200 T. C. Jester Boulevard

Houston police have released additional surveillance video and photos of three suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 7200 T. C. Jester Boulevard about 10 a.m. on February 11.

The suspects are described only as three males, one of whom is believed to be either black or Hispanic, in his 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 140 to 150 pounds.  The males fled in a stolen gray Toyota Camry, which was recovered a short time later in the 3900 block of Creekmont Drive.

Surveillance video released today (April 29) shows at least one of the suspects in the back seat of the vehicle at a drive-thru window of a fast food restaurant in the 15000 block of the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) on February 10.  The video can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/QfTfcMvB_cI

Surveillance photos are attached to this news release.

The victim, Magdaleno Reyes, 59, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Turner and Detective J. Flores reported:

HPD Mobility Response Team (MRT) personnel driving in the area observed a male lying on the sidewalk at the above address, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  They then saw a vehicle leaving the scene northbound on T. C. Jester.  The MRT units followed the vehicle, obtained a license plate, contacted HPD dispatch and then returned to the original scene until officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived.

Further investigation determined Mr. Reyes had been shot in a robbery while he was standing near the corner of T. C. Jester and Holder Forest Drive.  His cell phone and wallet were stolen.

Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division  at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
