Houston police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 10300 Bissonnet about 5:45 p.m. on March 25.
The victim, Courtney Sims, 36, was transported to Southwest Memorial Hermann where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect, driving a dark-colored pickup truck, fled the scene.
Surveillance photos of the pickup truck and a picture of Mr. Sims are attached to this news release.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer L. Tram reported:
Witnesses stated Sims, a pedestrian, was crossing the street at the above address, not in a crosswalk, when he was struck by a pickup truck traveling westbound on Bissonnet towards the Beltway. Anyone with information on the wanted vehicle or driver in this case is urged to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4065 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
