Suspects Charged, Wanted for Felony Theft

Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted for felony theft at a business at 5175 Westheimer Road about 10:15 a.m. on May 31.

The suspects, Wesley Daniels Jr. (b/m, 51) and Jermarcus Jerome Singleton (b/m, 42), are charged with theft in the 117th State District Court.

HPD Burglary Division Officer K. Johns reported:

On May 31, two apparently transgendered suspects entered the store at the above address. Surveillance video then shows them selecting multiple clothing items off a clothes rack and placing them in a gray bag.  They then exited the store without paying for the merchandise.

Further investigation led to the identification of both suspects, Daniels aka “Leslie Houston” and Singleton aka “Janae Mack.” On Monday (Oct. 23), the two were charged with theft.  Currently, they are not in custody.
