| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile female at 8125 Mills Road about 12:10 a.m. today (January 5).
The victim, 16, was transported to an area hospital to be treated for her wounds.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Detectives M. Barrow and R. Montalvo reported:
The victim and her boyfriend were inside an apartment at the above address and were recording and sharing videos of the boyfriend with a pistol in his hand. At some point, the weapon discharged and the victim was struck in her side by the gunfire. The boyfriend fled the scene with the pistol. HFD paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
