Investigation into Shooting at 4558 Buckleridge Road

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 4558 Buckleridge Road about 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday (March 27).

The victim, Roderick Harris, 40, was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.

HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers K. Persad and J. Flores reported:

HPD patrol officers and HFD paramedics responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Harris inside the bathroom of the residence with a gunshot wound to the stomach.  He was then transported by paramedics to the hospital.

Further investigation determined Harris was shot after opening the front door to the residence. Three suspects then fled the scene eastbound on Buckleridge in a white four-door vehicle.

The suspects are described only as tall black males, between 20 and 30 years of age, with medium builds.
