Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 4500 Kilkenny about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 11).
The victim, 16, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives N. Sharp and C. Sharp reported:
The victim got off a school bus at the above address, at the intersection of Cullen Boulevard. He was approached by an unknown black male and an altercation and shoving match ensued. At that time, the suspect pulled a gun, shot the victim one time and then ran. Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a hospital.
