Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman that occurred at 705 East Sunnyside at about 3:30 a.m. today (May 8).
The victim has been identified as Brenda Reyna, 63, of the above address.
HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Hogue and T. Miller reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found Ms. Reyna had been struck. Reyna was asleep in her bed when the suspect(s) began firing into the residence. She was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson Hopsital where she was pronounced dead.
