Details: Firefighters responded a structure fire on Kinghurst to find smoke coming from the 2-story of a townhome. 7 units responded. The occupant stated the electricity had been cut off and had only been restored 30 minutes before the fire. Arson investigators concluded the fire was started by a window air conditioning unit. The Red Cross assisted a total of 8 displaced occupants. Six of the occupants are children.
