What:  2-11 Apartment Fire in Northwest Houston

When:  Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 12:31 a.m.

Where:  5915 Flintlock Rd., Houston Texas  77040

Injuries:  No injuries reported

Damage:  Estimated $250,000 in structural damage.

Cause:  The cause of the fire is undetermined and is currently under investigation.

 

Details:  Firefighters arrived to location with fire showing through the roof of corner apartment.  Firefighters made an offensive fire attack and primary search for occupants.  No one was found.  The fire was later upgraded to a 2-11 for manpower.  This fire was deemed under control and tapped out at 1:48 a.m.  There was heavy fire damage to 4 top apartment units with smoke and water damage to bottom units.  Arson was dispatched to this incident.   The Red Cross was also dispatched to assist displaced occupants.  30 HFD units responded to this incident.
